Centenary
Reaching 100 years was a proud and honourable milestone for our club and we made sure that we celebrated it with a bang. The 17-19th of May 2019 saw all generations of our Kereone family reunited for a weekend of reminiscing, laughter, and all round good time.
History
The Kereone story began back with the returning soldiers that had settled in the Kereone/Kiwitahi area and looked to the sport of rugby for enjoyment. Rugby looked a lot different back then and with soldiers coming and going the team numbers fluctuated, however with a few key people involved, the club managed to continue on and grow towards the future.
