Senior Rugby

Rugby is where it all began for our proud rugby and sports club!

We have a passionate team of men, however at Kereone we aren’t just all about what happens on the field. We are about spending time with people who enjoy the game, enjoying a laugh or a good yarn, meeting new people, being a part of a club - both individually and families and of course we enjoy the healthy physical competition that the game offers. We always welcome new players so if you are looking at putting the boots on come and see what we have to offer.

This year Kereone will re-enter the Waikato Division 1 competition! Our Senior side last played this grade in 2012.

We will be entering teams in both 1A and 1B. This is a result of a lot of work behind the scenes from some of our senior players and coaches. 

We are looking forward to this season with a great deal of excitement!
